North Morocco #2 – Tangier & The Blue City

Transportation from Spain to Morocco is not included in this package. You will need to book your own flight to Morocco and send us the flight details. With these details, we will happily arrange your airport pick-up and drop off at no extra charge*.

Important Things to Keep in Mind:

• You will need to fly in to Tangier on Friday, November 15th before 11:30 (We recommend Flight FR3876 – click here – landing at 11:10 in Tangier).
• You will need to fly out of Tangier on Sunday, November 17th after 14:00 (We recommend Flight FR7755 – click here – leaving at 14:15 from Tangier).
• If you wish to stay an extra night and fly out on Monday, you can book the Extra night Add-On below together with any flight leaving that day – click here.

*Your airport drop-off is included in the package price but can only be arranged for flights leaving from Tangier after 14:00. If you wish to arrive one day before or stay one more night you can book the “Extra Night” add-on in addition to the basic package. The add-on includes the aiport transfer.

Day 1: Tangier (Arrival Day)

Our incredible Moroccan experience will start on Friday, once you’ve landed in Tangier (please make sure to arrive no later than 11:30). The group will gather at the airport. After changing money we’ll go for a quick lunch before heading to our hotel.

After dropping off our luggage, we will explore the city center! Our walking tour of Tangier’s medina (old town) includes a walk through its winding streets, a stop at a typical Moroccan pharmacy where they sell all kinds of spices, creams, argan oil and natural perfumes and a stop at a family owned craft shop where they make and sell gorgeous, vibrant Moroccan items.

After an afternoon of exploration, those interested can join us for a traditional Moroccan dinner which offers live music, delicious typical food and great vibes!

We will be staying for the next 2 nights at a historic hotel just steps away from the old town of Tangier

Day 2: Chefchaouen

On Saturday morning we will start our action packed day by heading to one of the prettiest towns in the country, Chefchaouen, also known as The Blue City or The Blue Pearl! The city is beautifully perched beneath the raw peaks of the Rif mountains. It’s known for its artsy vibe as well as its blue-washed streets. Upon arrival we will explore the town with a local guide and continue with a panoramic hike. After which the afternoon is yours!

We will then drive back to Tangier.

Day 3: Tangier (Departure Day)

On Sunday morning, we will be heading to the coast, to Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. Then, we will enjoy a short camel ride along the beach, which will surely be one of the trip’s highlights! We will continue our adventure with a stop at the legendary Hercules Caves! Entering the caves is an optional part of the tour and there will be a small fee to enter.

We will then head to the airport approximately 2.5h before our flight back to Madrid.

Important: Please remember that the shuttle to Tangier airport will only be included if you booked our recommended flight. If your flight leaves earlier or later that day, we will still help you arrange your transfer.

In Tangier we will be staying in a hotel. Room assignments will be determined based on the information that you provide us when signing up.

Group Name

When signing up for this trip you will see the option to indicate a “group name”. This is where you can inform of about who you would like to share a room with. We will always do our best to keep your group together.

If you have purchased a ticket without indicating a group name, we will assume that you are ok with being placed in a room with someone you may not know. If this is not the case, please reach out to us at [email protected] to inform us about your roommate request.

We have planned this trip’s itinerary around the most affordable flight options that are available.

Those who wish to arrive one day earlier or stay in Tangier for one more night are welcome to book our Extra Night add-on in addition to their Basic Package ticket. We will arrange an additional night for you at one of our group’s hotels for the price of 50€. This price includes:

• 1 night at our group hotel
• Breakfast at the hotel (depending on when your flight leaves)
• Transfer to or from the airport

IMPORTANT: If you do choose to stay an extra night with us, please send your flight details to [email protected] so we can prepare the shuttle accordingly.

Please make sure you have your passport with you and that it is valid for at least 6 months from the moment you enter Morocco!
