North Morocco #2 – Tangier & The Blue City

Transportation from Spain to Morocco is not included in this package. You will need to book your own flight to Morocco and send us the flight details. With these details, we will happily arrange your airport pick-up and drop off at no extra charge*.

Important Things to Keep in Mind:

• You will need to fly in to Tangier on Friday, February 7th before 11:30 (We recommend Flight FR3876 – click here – landing at 11:10 in Tangier).
• You will need to fly out of Tangier on Sunday, February 9th after 14:00 (We recommend Flight FR7755 – click here – leaving at 14:15 from Tangier).
• If you wish to stay an extra night and fly out on Monday, you can book the Extra night Add-On below together with any flight leaving that day. If you decide to fly out Sunday morning, please bear in mind that you will miss the activities planned for Sunday morning.

*Your airport drop-off is included in the package price if your flight is leaving from Tangier between 14:00 and 16:00. If your flight is scheduled earlier or later that day, we’ll be happy to help you arrange a transfer, but please note that additional fees will apply. If you wish to arrive one day before or stay one more night you can book the “Extra Night” add-on in addition to the basic package. The add-on includes the aiport transfer.

Day 1: Tangier (Arrival Day)

Our amazing Moroccan adventure kicks off on Friday when you arrive in Tangier (please make sure your flight lands no later than 11:30). We’ll meet as a group at the airport (if you are flying in from Madrid with our recommended flight), and after exchanging some money, we’ll grab a quick lunch before heading to our hotel.

Once we’ve dropped off our luggage, it’s time to explore the city center! Our walking tour of Tangier’s medina (old town) will take us through its charming, winding streets. We’ll visit a traditional Moroccan pharmacy where you’ll find all kinds of spices, creams, argan oil, and natural perfumes, and stop by a family-owned craft shop filled with stunning, vibrant Moroccan goods.

After an afternoon of exploring, you’ll have the option to join us for a traditional Moroccan dinner with live music, delicious local food, and an incredible atmosphere – an experience you won’t want to miss!

For the next two nights, we’ll be staying in an aparthotel conveniently located right in the city center.

Day 2: Chefchaouen

On Saturday morning, we’ll kick off our action-packed day with a trip to one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco: Chefchaouen, also known as The Blue City or The Blue Pearl!

This stunning town is tucked beneath the rugged peaks of the Rif Mountains and is famous for its artsy vibe and blue-washed streets that make it feel like a fairytale.

Once we arrive, we’ll explore the town with a local guide and enjoy a scenic panoramic hike. After that, the afternoon is all yours to wander the charming streets, snap some amazing photos, shop for local crafts, or just soak in the magical atmosphere.

In the evening, we’ll head back to Tangier to wrap up a fantastic day!

Day 3: Tangier (Departure Day)

On Sunday morning, we’ll head to the coast to visit Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea – a truly stunning spot! Next up is one of the highlights of the trip: a short camel ride along the beach. Get ready to take some amazing photos and create unforgettable memories!

Our adventure continues with a visit to the legendary Hercules Caves. Exploring the caves is optional, but it’s definitely worth it! Just keep in mind there’s a entrance fee if you decide to go inside.

After that, we’ll make our way to the airport about 2.5 hours before our flight back to Madrid.

Important: Please note that the shuttle to Tangier airport is only included if you booked our recommended flight (FR7755) departing at 14:15. If your flight is scheduled earlier or later that day, we’ll be happy to help you arrange a transfer, but please note that additional fees will apply.

In Tangier we will be staying in a appart-hotel. Room assignments will be determined based on the information that you provide us when signing up.

Group Name

When signing up for this trip you will see the option to indicate a “group name”. This is where you can inform of about who you would like to share a room with. We will always do our best to keep your group together.

If you have purchased a ticket without indicating a group name, we will assume that you are ok with being placed in a room with someone you may not know. If this is not the case, please reach out to us at [email protected] to inform us about your roommate request.

We have planned this trip’s itinerary around the most affordable flight options that are available.

Those who wish to arrive one day earlier or stay in Tangier for one more night are welcome to book our Extra Night add-on in addition to their Basic Package ticket. We will arrange an additional night for you at one of our group’s hotels for the price of 60€. This price includes:

• 1 night at our group hotel
• Transfer to or from the airport
