Honkytonk has been pumping music into the heart of Madrid since 1987. It was founded by Antonio Yenes, drummer of the band Mermelada, with the vision to bring live music closer to the people. Decades later that is exactly what the place is doing. HonkyTonk is even rumored to be the birthplace of many now-famous artists, songs, and verses. 2. La Coquette Blues Bar

La Coquette Blues Bar is by far one of the most popular underground blues bars in Madrid, and rightfully so.
